RIDC examples

RIDC (Remote Intradoc Client) is a Java API that, “removes data abstractions to Oracle Content Server while still providing a wrapper to handle connection pooling, security, and protocol specifics”. More information about RIDC can be found in my post, RIDC versus CIS. Below are some articles (including some with code samples) to help you get you started using RIDC.

Hello ,

Can anybody gives an example of how can we add new revision to a file with RIDC ?

I tried CHECKOUT service then CHECKIN_UNIVERSAL service but it checks in a new separate file.

Thanks in advance

Issue solved 🙂

I was sending different dDocName so it was uploading a separate file 🙂

I used CHECKOUT then CHECKIN_UNIVERSAL and set the same dDocName for each of these services

Hi Jonathan,
I want to know if there is any way i can monitor calls(operations) made to Content Server from external applications which use RIDC calls.
I want to monitor all operations happening through RIDC calls.

thanks,
Khalid

Hello,
Thank you for the links.
How can I get the list of the names of the folders under “Contribution Folders” ?
i need it to verify if the name that i specified for the folder i am creating using RIDC is unique.
Thanks again.
